Downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky, is now home to a new performing arts center called SKYpac. We attended our first SKYpac show on Friday night, where we saw the 73-year-old Gordon Lightfoot croon his way through two hour-long sets. Not bad for someone our parents’ age.

Now that the fall semester is in full swing at Western Kentucky University, we’ll be obligated to attend several events on campus in the evenings, raising the question, “What does one do to entertain oneself at such events?”
One answer: make art with whatever you can find.
